Terms of Service
This is an English translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Polish version (Regulamin) prevails.
§ 1. General provisions
- These terms of service (the “Terms”) set out the rules for using the FinPath mobile application (the “App”) and the finpath.likims.com website (the “Website”).
- The service provider and operator of the App is Fundacja Edukacji Finansowej Dzieci i Młodzieży „Trampki na giełdzie” (the “Trampki na giełdzie” Children and Youth Financial Education Foundation), with its registered office in Kraków, ul. Mogilska 65, 31-545 Kraków, Poland, KRS 0001057734, NIP 6762651288, REGON 526373001, e-mail: kontakt@trampkinagieldzie.pl (the “Operator”).
- The App is developed, maintained and published in the Apple App Store and on Google Play by LIKI Mobile Solutions Sp. z o.o., with its registered office in Łódź, ul. Żeligowskiego 8/10, 90-753 Łódź, Poland, e-mail: hello@likims.com (the “Developer”), commissioned by the Operator.
- The App serves the financial education of young people and is made available as part of an educational programme run in cooperation with schools (the “Programme”).
§ 2. Conditions of use
- Use of the App and the Website is free of charge. The App contains no ads, payments or in-app purchases.
- Using the App requires a mobile device running Android or iOS and — for some features — internet access. The App’s core features also work offline.
- Using the Website does not require an account.
§ 3. User accounts
- Student accounts are created as part of a school’s participation in the Programme. Students receive their initial credentials (a pseudonymous login and a temporary password) from their coordinating teacher. A student takes part in the Programme within their school’s participation and under its care.
- Teacher and coordinator accounts are created on the basis of invitations sent within the Programme.
- Users must protect their login credentials (password, PIN) and must not share them with third parties. An account is intended for personal use.
- If access to an account is lost, a student may use the security question in the App or ask their coordinating teacher to generate a new temporary password.
- Users may stop using the App at any time and request account deletion following the procedure described at Delete account.
§ 4. Acceptable use
- Wherever the App allows users to enter their own content (e.g. notes attached to budget entries, lesson answers, project submissions), it is prohibited to post content that is unlawful, offensive, infringes the personal rights of others or contains third parties’ personal data.
- Any actions disrupting the operation of the App are prohibited, including attempts to gain unauthorised access to other users’ accounts or to the infrastructure.
- The Operator may block an account used in breach of the Terms or applicable law; where possible, the user will be informed of the reason for the block and of how to respond.
§ 5. Intellectual property
- The App, the Website and the educational content, graphics and marks they contain are subject to the rights of the Operator, the Developer or their licensors and are protected by law. They may be used within the ordinary use of the App.
- The rights to content entered by users remain with the users. Work created within the Programme (e.g. class projects) may be presented publicly only with the separate consent of the user (and, for underage students, of their legal guardians).
§ 6. Educational nature of the content
All content in the App — including lessons, quizzes, simulations and calculations — is purely educational. It does not constitute investment, financial, tax or legal advice within the meaning of applicable law.
§ 7. Liability and availability
- The Operator endeavours to keep the App and the Website running continuously and correctly. Technical interruptions related to maintenance or updates may nevertheless occur.
- The App is developed in stages — individual modules may be made available progressively during the Programme.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights consumers enjoy under mandatory provisions of law.
§ 8. Complaints and reports
- Complaints about the operation of the App or the Website may be submitted to hello@likims.com.
- Complaints are answered within 14 days of receipt, to the address indicated by the person submitting the complaint.
§ 9. Personal data
The rules of personal data processing, including information about the data controller, the purposes of processing and users’ rights, are described in the Privacy Policy.
§ 10. Changes to the Terms and final provisions
- The Operator may amend the Terms for important reasons, in particular in connection with the development of the App or changes in the law. Users will be informed of material changes in the App or on the Website with reasonable advance notice.
- Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by Polish law.
- The current version of the Terms is available at finpath.likims.com/en/terms.
